April 9, 2009   We went to the Easter Party today for homebound kids. It was lots of fun! Ms Kiristy went with us and Ms Debi came there too! I had some icing and a little bit of cake. The cake was good but I really liked the icing. I made a sun catcher and a bunny windsock. We also played some games and had an egg hunt. I missed the hunt because I had to have my lunch. Ms Amy hunted for me and got me lots of goodies! I have great people taking care of me!!! April 16, 2009   Momma measured my height today. I'm 41 1/2 inches tall! Guess that's what happens when you get good breaths and good food...(and tasty suckers!) April 28, 2009   I went to see Dr. Miller today! He's a really nice guy... he checked under my tongue to see what it looked like. I've been sticking my tongue out alot and it has a funny cut there. Momma even worried my tongue would fall out of my mouth. Dr. Miller told her and Ms Debi to put a mix of Kaopectate and Benedryl on it. It sounded strange to all of us but he said do it, so I know they will. Then he checked this funny spot next to my top left jaw tooth. It looked like a mini skin balloon. He said it didn't look too bad as it wasn't bleeding or seemed to hurt me but he wants to see me again in a few weeks. April 29, 2009   Gramma Walker and Uncle Chad came by today! Uncle Chad was going to Baton Rouge so he offered Gramma a ride to see me and she came! Uncle Chad came in to change and he talked to me a bit. Gramma's going to spend the night.   While Gramma was here, a nice lady named Ms Sharon from the Vent Assist Program came by. She wanted to make sure that I was getting all I needed and to make sure Momma was not needing anything. April 30, 2009   Went to see Dr. Bruno today. I cut up big time for Dr. Bruno! Gramma went with us. We all got cold in the waiting room but we got warmed up. We went to eat lunch at Burger King then Uncle Chad came to pick up Gramma. I was sad to see them go home. Maybe next time they can stay longer.

	May 4, 2009   I went to see Dr. Accousti today! He's really nice. He's going to get a picture of my back. He wants to make sure my spinal cord is ok before he helps my back to be not as crooked. May 5, 2009   Today was my last dose of Viagra! Woo Hoo!!! One less medicine to take. I kinda like this button thing in my belly. I don't have to taste all that ucky medicine    : ) May 7, 2009   Today I went to get my 'boots' fitted (They're really called AFO's but Mommy is trying to trick me... Ha!) I laughed so hard at Ms Christie that she almost couldn't get them on me. She was a good sport and I sort of let her do her thing. I was kinda tired from all the laughing... May 13, 2009   Today we went to Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. Momma said I didn't have to stay a long time like I did last time. I wasn't too sure about being there. Momma said Dr. Thomas was going to look down in my lungs to make sure they were doing good and to put my new, custom trach in. I cut up for him when he came to see me just before the nice ladies in PACU got me a bed. I was talking and giggling big time once I got to lay down! Then before I knew it, I was looking at Mom and Pop! I wasn't too sure about this new trach but I did get lots more air in my lungs. I could really laugh now! May 15, 2009   I decided I didn't like this custom trach all that much. Yesterday I turned my head enough that it came out. When Momma and Ms Brenda and Pop tried to put it back, I wouldn't let it. They put my standard back in. Momma called Dr. Thomas' office and they told her to let my neck rest until the next trach change. She was not upset at all to hear that. May 27, 2009   I went to see my dentist, Dr. Miller today. He said my mouth looked good and the funny bump thing on my upper gum was nearly all gone. He said the ulcer looked good too. He told Momma to bring me back in 6 months... He's really, really nice!!

	June 2, 2009   I took Momma and Ms Debi to see the movie "UP". This is the first time I ever went to a movie theater. Momma took me to the game room to see what was happening there until the movie started. I played the SpongeBob Square Pants game and won 60 tickets! I don't know what tickets are for but I got some!! When it was time for the movie to start, we went into the theater. I gave the ticket taker man my own ticket.  It was really dark and very cool. I liked it. Then I hear some kids come in and they were talking and laughing so I talked back to them. Then all of a sudden the lights went out and this big thing lit up in front of my eyes. Momma says my eyes got real big for a little bit. Then there were all these people and animals running around and acting silly. I just had to laugh. Momma said she watched me more than the movie. I had a really good time! Momma said we can go again pretty soon!! I can't wait! June 4, 2009   We had to go to New Orleans today. Dr. Accousti wanted to get an MRI of my back. He wants to make sure my spinal cord isn't re-tethered. (This school thing is really paying off!!) I had some really nice nurses helping me in the imaging unit at Children's Hospital. They gave me some medicine to make me sleepy but I was just having too much fun! I did fall asleep but I went down kicking...(yawwwwwn)  After they took all their pictures they said I had to wake up or move on my own before they'd let us go home. Momma and Pop told them I could sleep until the next morning. I've done it before *grin*  I guess I heard Momma and Pop talking to them because I decided to move a little then. We headed back home but I was too pooped from all that sleep-fighting. Momma said I did really well. All I know is I like coming home!!!
