I'll start with from the beginning. I sent Mom, Pamela Fuller, into
labor on the morn of September 24th, 2001. I know it was early, wasn't supposed to be here until December 8th.
You know me, couldn't wait.
So late in the morning of the 24th, Mom calls Pop, Marion Fuller,
and shares that she is having what she believes are to be labor pains. Imagine the thought going through their
heads. Two months early!
Pop tells Mom to call the doctor and get back with him.
No worry right? {wrong :)}. She calls back about 30 minutes later and informs him that the doctor, Dr. Lamarr
Dash, wants her to go to emergency room immediately. Seems like he knows me (smile).

Pop runs home
and Mom is ready to go. She hops in the car and boy did we have a ride! Pop claims that he didn't go over 90 miles an
hour, but Mom begs to differ. Anyway, after we go across town in what seems to me like 2 minutes (what do I know about
time at this point anyway...) we get to the hospital and into the emergency room we go.
Mom tells the nice people at Baptist Hospital in Nashville,
Tennessee, that I am her third biological child and she believes that she's in labor. She also told them that doctor
person, Dr. Dash, told come in and get examined immediately. Pop goes to park the car while Mom and me get to wait in
the waiting room. I had to let Mom know that I was there so I moved around a lot to make sure she didn't forget me :
).
By the time Pop comes back in a nice lady, Mrs. Barbara Christensen,
with a cool ride takes me and Mom upstairs to the third floor. The ride had handles for the lady to push and boy did
she know her way around that place. We got into a box with big doors and all kind of buttons. She pushed a button
with something like this on it "3" and she wasn't even pushing Mom and we were moving again. Just as I get used to the
movement we stop and those doors, all by themselves, open. Now, you expect me to tell you what I saw, remember, I am
not here yet, and what I see looks completely different to me anyway. I do remember water falling down a side of the
wall and I thought that was strange. All the stuff I had heard about rain sure did look funny. There were people
just like Mom, Pop and Mrs. Barbara. I heard Mrs. Barbara say that she had just changed her scrubs because some new
kid had gotten her all dirty. What are scrubs?

She must
have really liked Mom and Pop, she did not leave us alone for a minute. She called a lot of other people who wanted
to meet Mom I guess, caused they came and talked to her a lot. They also keep feeling my place cause I guess Mom told
then that I had been really working to let her know that I was there. They all wanted to feel me and they seemed to
think that I was going to meet them very soon. They knew stuff that Mom, Pop didn't know, and of course I didn't know
anything. They started taking care of Mom and giving her shots to make her feel better. I think I knew that I
was going to meet Mom and Pop for the first time. I found myself standing on my head! Didn't know I could do that,
cool huh?
Check out the rest of my first day!
